Job summary

Pergolux, a fast-growing premium outdoor-living brand, is seeking an Accountant to support our international accounting footprint from Wrocław. You will ensure precise postings, regulatory compliance, and smooth cash flow across entities.

You’ll own a defined domain, apply standards, use Odoo daily, assist month-end close and tax processes, and mentor Associate Accountants while monitoring regulatory changes. Excellent English (B2+) is required to coordinate with global teams.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of accounting experience in international or fast-scaling environments.
• Degree in accounting, finance, or economics; strong regulatory knowledge.
• Experience with cloud ERP systems; Odoo is a plus.
• Excellent English communication (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Own a defined accounting domain within your entity, ensuring balance accuracy and compliance.
• Apply accounting standards independently; investigate discrepancies and provide a clear recommendation.
• Use Odoo daily to manage journal entries and multi-currency transactions within your domain.
• Support month-end close with complete postings, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Assist tax compliance activities and provide documentation to external tax advisors as required.
• Provide direction to Associate Accountants within your domain, setting standards for accuracy and documentation.
• Stay current with regulatory developments and flag changes affecting your area.

As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the group-wide accounting architecture across our scaling international footprint, ensuring absolute precision, regulatory compliance, and seamless cash flow management.

What You’ll Do

• Own a defined accounting domain within your assigned entity - ensuring every balance is accurate, every posting is correctly coded, and your area is fully compliant at all times.

• Apply accounting standards and regulatory requirements independently within your domain; recognise when a balance, posting, or process is not as it should be, investigate thoroughly, and bring a clear recommendation to the Senior Accountant before acting.

• Utilize our core ERP system (Odoo) daily to manage journal entries and multi-currency transactions accurately within your domain scope.

• Support the month-end close for your domain - ensuring all relevant postings, reconciliations, and documentation are complete and accurate within the agreed timetable.

• Support tax compliance activities for your assigned entities, including providing documentation and reconciliations to external tax advisors as required.

• Provide direction to Associate Accountants working within your domain - setting the standard for accuracy, escalation, and documentation in your area.

• Stay current with regulatory developments relevant to your domain and flag any changes that affect how your area should be managed.

What You’ll Bring

• At least 3 years of accounting experience within an international corporate company or fast-scaling environment.

• A solid working knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements, with a degree in accounting, finance, or economics.

• Strong familiarity with cloud ERP systems, with direct experience in Odoo considered a strong asset.

• Excellent English communication skills at a B2 level or higher to confidently coordinate and escalation matters with global teams.

• A structured, detail-oriented approach combined with an ambitious, self-driven mindset to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
