Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a skilled ABAP Developer for a long-term remote project in the pharmaceutical sector, focusing on ABAP and HANA development. The role includes QA and lifecycle management within SAP environments.

You will review specifications, ensure code quality, implement best practices in S4HANA, and support complex ABAP issues with ATC and VFORGE. Strong English is required.

Qualifications

Practical ABAP programming experience and SAP HANA expertise.
Strong English communication skills and collaboration in an international team.
Experience with QA processes and tools such as ATC and VFORGE.
Ability to conduct technical reviews and implement best practices in development.
Familiarity with development lifecycle workflows and RACI matrices.

Responsibilities

Conduct periodic functional and technical reviews of specifications with focus on architecture and standards.
Perform QA through code quality reviews and ensure data integrity in project tools.
Define and update guidelines and best practices for S4HANA development teams.
Update lifecycle workflows according to PMO's RACI matrix.
Provide guidance for resolving ABAP issues related to deliverables, basis, or integration.
Manage automatic code inspection procedures using ATC and VFORGE.
Ensure thorough ABAP testing from performance, quality, robustness, and security perspectives in collaboration with test leads.
Participate in delivering complex development objects as part of co-delivery activities.

We are looking for a skilled ABAP Developer to join a long-term project for the pharmaceutical sector, focusing on ABAP and HANA development. This remote position involves working on various aspects of Quality Assurance and development lifecycle management. Your tasks

Conducting periodic functional and technical reviews of specifications, focusing on architecture and formal standards
Performing quality assurance through code quality reviews and ensuring adherence to processes and data integrity in project tools
Defining and updating guidelines and best practices for development teams in the S4HANA environment
Updating the development lifecycle workflow according to the RACI matrix defined by the PMO
Providing guidance and support for resolving complex ABAP issues related to deliverables, basis, or integration
Managing automatic custom code inspection procedures using tools like ATC and VFORGE throughout their lifecycle
Ensuring thorough ABAP testing from performance, quality, robustness, stability, and security perspectives in collaboration with test leads
Participating in the delivery of complex or critical development objects as part of co-delivery activities

Requirements

Practical experience in ABAP programming and SAP HANA
Strong knowledge of Fiori/UI5 is a plus
Experience with Quality Assurance processes and tools such as ATC and VFORGE
Ability to conduct technical reviews and implement best practices in development
Familiarity with development lifecycle workflows and RACI matrices
Advanced level of English
