Job summary

Sperasoft is hiring a 3D Animator to join our team in Poland. You will work with keyframe animation and motion capture, delivering high-quality assets within a world-class co-development setup.

You will collaborate with the Lead Artist to ensure timely progress and adherence to client requirements. Join an international team, with opportunities for learning and development, flexible hours, and supportive colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Maya, MotionBuilder or 3ds Max and preference for usage of each
• Familiar with game engine technologies such as Unity and Unreal
• Good understanding of posing, timing, spacing, exaggeration
• Experience in Motion Capture post-processing, overlay animation, retargeting, story, constraints
• Able to receive constructive feedback and adapt
• Self-motivated with good communication and team-player attitude

Responsibilities

• Working with keyframe animation and Motion capture according to client quality requirements
• Provide quality assets to client with minimal participation from the Lead Artist
• Communicate status of tasks with Lead Artist
• Obtain guidance and approval from Lead Artist as required
• Continue to refine artistic abilities and learn new software packages and in-house tools
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities:

• Working with keyframe animation and Motion capture according client quality requirements
• Ability to provide quality assets to client with minimal participation from the Lead Artist
• Communicates regularly with the Lead Artist regarding the status of current tasks
• Obtains Lead Artists guidance and approval as required to advance tasks
• Is expected to continue to refine artistic abilities and learn new software packages and / or in-house tools
• Contributes to the team-oriented environment.

• Praca z animacją klatkową (keyframe) oraz Motion Capture zgodnie z wymaganiami jakościowymi klienta
• Umiejętność dostarczania klientowi wysokiej jakości zasobów (assetów) przy minimalnym udziale Głównego Artysty (Lead Artist)
• Regularna komunikacja z Głównym Artystą w sprawie statusu bieżących zadań
• Uzyskiwanie wskazówek i akceptacji od Głównego Artysty w zakresie niezbędnym do realizacji zadań
• Dbanie o ciągły rozwój umiejętności artystycznych oraz naukę nowych programów i narzędzi wewnętrznych (in-house tools)
• Współtworzenie atmosfery zorientowanej na zespół

• Bardzo dobra znajomość programów Maya, MotionBuilder lub 3ds Max oraz preferencje w stosowaniu każdego z nich
• Znajomość silników gier, takich jak Unity oraz Unreal Engine
• Dobre rozumienie zasad pozowania, wyczucia czasu (timing), odstępów w ruchu (spacing) oraz przesady (exaggeration)
• Doświadczenie w obróbce danych Motion Capture (post-processing), nakładaniu animacji (overlay animation), retargetingu, pracy na ścieżce czasowej (story) oraz więzach (constraints)
• Umiejętność przyjmowania konstruktywnej krytyki
• Samomotywacja, dobre umiejętności komunikacyjne i doskonałe nastawienie do pracy w zespole
• Elastyczność w korzystaniu z różnych pakietów oprogramowania
