Responsibilities
  • Craft polished UI experiences that balance visual appeal with usability across a range of mobile devices.
  • Work hand-in-hand with Designers, Artists, and Engineers to turn UX concepts into final in-game assets.
  • Maintain visual alignment across the UI by following project-wide design standards and creative direction.
  • Iterate on UI flows and interactions using player feedback and internal testing to improve clarity and accessibility.
  • Provide Unity teams with production-ready UI components - including asset slicing, layout guidance, and animation intent.
  • Help develop and refine a scalable UI design framework that supports future content and features.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design, ideally within game development
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating versatile UI work - complete UX flows in shipped projects.

  • Solid grasp of visual design fundamentals including layout, typography, icon design, motion, and color harmony.
  • Fluent in leading design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Working knowledge of Unity UI systems - Canvas, anchoring, slicing, prefabs, sprite atlases, and animation pipelines.
  • Comfortable designing for a wide range of resolutions, screen sizes, aspect ratios, and control schemes.
  • Awareness of engine limitations and how to optimize assets for performance.
  • Familiarity with the most popular AI tools used in design workflows (e.g. Midjourney, ChatGPT, Firefly, RunwayML, etc.).

Nice-to-have: Motion graphics or VFX/UI animation experience (After Effects, Unity Timeline/Animator).
