Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a Junior 2D Animator in Gdańsk to craft high‑quality animations and visuals for slot games. You will work from concept to final delivery, using Blender for modeling and animation, and After Effects for compositing and effects.

You’ll collaborate with designers and engineers to fit assets into the game pipeline, iterate based on feedback, and ensure alignment with the established art direction while adding creative polish.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Adobe After Effects for creation, composition, fx and render.
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
• Proficiency with Trapcode plugins for motion graphics and VFX.
• Experience creating high-quality animations and assets for slot games from concept to final implementation.

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality 3D animations and visual assets for slot machine games from concept through final implementation.
• Use Blender as the main software for modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting, and animation.
• Develop rigs for characters, symbols, and mechanical assets.
• Texture characters, environments, and game components focusing on visual style and performance.
• Develop and implement lighting to enhance clarity, mood, and visual impact.
• Use After Effects to composite, add effects, and render animation outputs.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to integrate assets into the game pipeline.
• Iterate on work based on creative direction, feedback, and gameplay needs.
• Maintain alignment with art direction while adding creative polish.

What You'll Do

• Build high-quality 3D animations and visual assets for slot machine games, from concept through final implementation
• Use Blender as the main software for modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting, and animation
• Develop and sustain effective rigs for characters, symbols, and mechanical assets
• Develop and texture characters, environments, and game components, focusing on visual style and performance requirements
• Develop and implement lighting that enhances clarity, mood, and visual impact within a real-time or game-focused pipeline
• Use Adobe After Effects to composite, add effects, and render animation outputs for final delivery
• Work together with designers and engineers to incorporate animated assets and visual effects into the game pipeline
• Adjust work following creative suggestions, technical comments, and gameplay demands
• Ensure alignment with established art direction while adding creative refinement

What We\'re Looking For

• Proficient with Adobe After Effects to create, composite, apply FX, and render animation outputs for final delivery
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Proficiency with Trapcode plugins (e.g., Particular, Form) for motion graphics and visual effects
• Experience creating high-quality animations and visual assets for slot machine games, from concept through final implementation
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to integrate animated assets and visual effects into the game pipeline
• Iterate on work based on creative direction, technical feedback, and gameplay needs
• Maintain consistency with established art direction while contributing creative polish

Additional / Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with slot game design or development
• Working knowledge of Unity, including importing, setting up, and previewing animated assets
• Knowledge of Blender as a tool for modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting, and animation
• Background in creating game-ready assets for real-time or interactive applications
