Job summary

Kielce University of Technology in Poland invites applications for a permanent, full-time position as First Stage Researcher (R1) in engineering, specializing in automation and robotics. The role combines teaching with advancing research in automation and robotics, including lab supervision and project supervision.

Requirements include a Master degree in automation and robotics, strong knowledge of control theory, robotics, vision systems, PLCs, and programming in C/C++, C#, and Matlab.

Qualifications

• Master degree in automation and robotics; knowledge of automation and robotics including control theory, robotics, vision systems and PLCs.
• Proficient in programming AVR and STM32 microcontrollers; able to design electrical/electronic circuits including PCBs.
• Proficient in C, C++, C# and Matlab; familiar with PLC programming languages and C# on Windows.
• Experience using teaching tools for automation and robotics (Robot-Studio, SolidWorks, Matlab-Simulink).
• Experience with measuring equipment (oscilloscopes, data acquisition, transducers, sensors).
• Fluent in Polish and good English (B2 or higher); passion for teaching.
• Additional requirements: industry and teaching experience; publications; active promotion of the university.

Responsibilities

• Teach and conduct research in automation and robotics.
• Develop and supervise laboratory experiments and projects in relevant courses.
• Contribute to the university's research profile and publications.
