As a member of our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role as the first responder for customer escalations, engaging with engineering to resolve issues efficiently. Collaboration with support, engineering, and sales teams will be a core aspect of your responsibilities, making a passion for customer advocacy imperative.

Key Responsibilities

• Debug and isolate complex system and environmental issues
• Develop tools to facilitate debugging, reproduction, and validation of specific issues
• Exhibit proficiency across different feature areas, understanding the entire product landscape
• Devise workarounds for complex issues that have significant customer impact
• Design and implement features, and generate reports to empower the sales team in acquiring new accounts
• Provide best practice guidelines to internal and external users
• Manage customer expectations in alignment with engineering priorities

Skills & Experience

• Exceptional problem-solving, triaging, and debugging skills in large-scale distributed systems
• Prior experience managing SaaS applications
• Passionate about building elegant and powerful tools to solve customer problems
• Proficiency in scripting using Python and/or bash scripting
• Knowledge of microservices fundamentals including Service Mesh using Istio, service discovery, deployment strategies, monitoring, scheduling, and load balancing
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience
• Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
