Responsibilities

• Oversee QC testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to meet quality standards.
• Develop, review, and update SOPs for QC processes ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage calibration, validation, and maintenance of lab instruments (HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR).
• Ensure timely completion of routine testing, stability studies, and method development/validation.
• Lead investigations into deviations, OOS results, or quality issues during production or testing.
• Participate in internal and external audits by providing documents and answering QC-related queries.
• Collaborate with Production, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, and QA to resolve quality issues and support product development.

At-least 4 to 6 years of relevant Pharmaceutical experience.

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Executive Officer Quality Control to join our growing pharmaceutical team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. This role involves overseeing QC processes, managing quality systems, and coordinating with multiple teams to maintain a high standard of product quality in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the QC testing of raw materials, in-process materials. and finished pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
• Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to QC processes, ensuring that all QC activities are compliant with regulatory and internal guidelines.
• Manage the routine calibration, validation, and maintenance of laboratory instruments (HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR) to ensure accuracy in results.
• Ensure timely completion of routine testing, stability studies, and special projects, including method development and validation.
• Lead investigations into any deviations, out-of-specification (OOS) results, or quality issues encountered during production or testing.
• Participate in internal and external audits (regulatory and client) by providing requested documents and answering queries regarding QC procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments such as production, regulatory affairs. R&D, and quality assurance to resolve quality issues and support product development.

Skills & Traits

• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other quality improvement methodologies.
• Experience with ICH Q9 (Quality Risk Management).
• Familiarity with environmental monitoring and stability testing protocols.
• Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
