Job summary

Rankviz Pvt Limited is seeking a WordPress Developer Intern who can independently handle website development, customization, troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization. This role goes beyond page-building and requires hands-on PHP work, core WordPress knowledge, and the ability to implement Figma designs and fix issues on existing sites.

• 3–6 months of hands-on professional WordPress development experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of WordPress and PHP.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience creating and customizing WordPress themes, templates, and functionality.
• Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, and other page builders.
• Experience with WooCommerce and its customization.
• Understanding of hooks, actions, filters, template hierarchy, custom post types, and custom fields.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and API integrations.
• Ability to convert Figma designs and AI-generated sites into WordPress.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Basic knowledge of performance optimization, caching, and security.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

We are looking for a WordPress Developer Intern who can independently handle website development, customization, troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization. This is an experienced developer role, not a page-builder-only position. You should be comfortable working with PHP and core WordPress functionality, fixing issues on existing websites, implementing Figma designs, and solving technical problems on your own.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites for different clients and business needs
• Convert Figma designs into pixel-accurate, responsive WordPress websites
• Convert AI-generated or AI-built websites into clean, properly structured WordPress websites
• Customize and extend existing themes, plugins, templates, and functionality
• Build custom features using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Work with Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, and other page builders
