Qualifications

Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role.
Proficient in working with carpentry tools and machines.
Good understanding of wood properties and other construction materials.
Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions.
Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.
Attention to detail.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine materials required and construction methods.
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares, or marking gauges.
Cut, shape, and join materials using hand or power tools.
Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, doors etc.
Ensure all work meets safety standards and building codes.
Repair or replace damaged woodwork.
