A reputable construction company in Khanpur is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team on a contract basis As a Welder you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures using welding techniques to join metal parts and ensuring the quality and accuracy of your work

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments together
• Perform various types of welding such as MIG TIG and stick welding
• Inspect materials and structures for defects or imperfections before and after welding
• Ensure welds meet industry standards and project specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of welding techniques, equipment and materials
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Good understanding of safety procedures and practices
• Physical stamina to work long hours in various weather conditions
• Attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Vocational training or certification in welding is preferred
• Valid certification in welding from an accredited institution is an asset
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or related field

• Must be able to pass a welding test set up by the company
