Job summary

ITFIX (Dublin) is seeking a results-driven Web Developer to improve customer-facing and internal web applications that support network reliability and operational workflows.

You will collaborate with operations, field-service and support teams to deliver performant, secure and maintainable web solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have HTML5, CSS3 and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with React, Vue or Angular.
• Back-end development with Node.js, Python (Django/Flask) or PHP and RESTful APIs.
• Relational databases PostgreSQL or MySQL; familiarity with NoSQL.
• Version control with Git and code review practices.
• CI/CD and containerization with Docker; Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI.
• Web security principles (OWASP); authentication/authorization via JWT/OAuth.
• Monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry or similar.
• Responsive design, performance optimization and accessibility.
• 2+ years practical web development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain modern web applications and dashboards.
• Collaborate with product owners and ops teams to translate requirements into interfaces and APIs.
• Write clean code and participate in code reviews and tests.
• Optimize performance, accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated build/test workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues, analyze logs and metrics, implement fixes.
• Ensure security best practices are followed.

• Collaborate with product owners, network operations and support engineers to translate requirements into user-friendly interfaces and APIs
• Write clean, well-documented code and unit/integration tests; participate in code reviews
• Optimize application performance, accessibility and cross-browser compatibility; implement responsive design
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes and automated build/test workflows
• Troubleshoot production issues, analyze logs and metrics, and implement fixes or mitigations
• Ensure security best practices are followed
