Job description

We're looking for an experienced Web Designer / Developer to help build and maintain multiple e-commerce websites for a new U.S.-based printing and packaging business. The ideal candidate will have strong design sense, technical skills, and experience developing online stores using platforms such as Shopify, Etsy, Amazon, and eBay.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design websites (two separate sites) based on pre-purchased GoDaddy domains.
• Create product pages for custom-printed items (bags, boxes, signs, mailers, etc.).
• Integrate online ordering functionality where customers can upload artwork, images, or design instructions.
• Set up online stores on Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, and eBay.
• Implement design templates that allow customers to customise select products online.
• Manage routine website updates, page additions/removals, and bug fixes.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness and user-friendly navigation.
• Coordinate communication with the client daily (morning and late afternoon Pacific Time overlap).

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and developing e-commerce websites
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS tools.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles.
• Familiarity with file upload systems and customizable design templates.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
