Job summary

The University of Narowal invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor to deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions, support student learning, and contribute to the department's academic objectives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Education

PhD in relevant field/discipline or equivalent qualification from an institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

Job description

The Visiting Assistant Professor is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, supporting student learning, and contributing to the academic objectives of the department. The incumbent shall teach assigned courses, conduct assessments, maintain academic records, and comply with the academic policies, regulations, and quality standards of the University.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain attendance and academic records accurately.
• Provide academic guidance and consultation to students during designated office hours.
• Utilize modern teaching methodologies and educational technologies.
• Ensure compliance with the University's academic rules, policies, and quality assurance requirements.
• Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, seminars, and faculty development activities when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all academic matters.
