Job summary

The role requires a PhD, at least ten years of teaching/research experience, and a track record of ten publications with at least four in the last five years.

Qualifications

• PhD in relevant field / discipline or equivalent qualification recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
• Ten years teaching or research or professional experience in a postgraduate institute or university recognized by HEC or national/international organizations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, practicals, and laboratory sessions as assigned.
• Prepare and update course outlines in accordance with the approved curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and learning resources.
• Conduct quizzes, assignments, presentations, mid-term, and final examinations.
• Evaluate student performance and submit grades within the prescribed timelines.
• Maintain attendance and academic records accurately.
• Provide academic guidance and consultation to students during designated office hours.
• Utilize modern teaching methodologies and educational technologies.
• Ensure compliance with the University's academic rules, policies, and quality assurance requirements.
• Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, seminars, and faculty development activities when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all academic matters.
• Perform any other academic duties assigned by the Head of Department or Dean.
