Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Turner or similar role.

• Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Familiarity with different types of metalworking materials.
• Experience with CNC programming is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machinery.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished pieces.
• Select appropriate cutting tools and adjust machine settings for each job.
• Inspect finished pieces for accuracy and make adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues with machinery and perform routine maintenance as necessary.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
