The role is hands‑on and involves shooting on location and in‑studio, collaborating with directors, producers and post‑production teams to capture visual material that meets creative briefs, technical standards and delivery timelines.

Responsibilities
  • Shoot and capture high‑quality video footage for commercials, branded content and short films using professional cinema and DSLR cameras.
  • Collaborate with creative leads to interpret storyboards and shot lists, proposing camera angles, movement and lighting approaches to achieve the desired aesthetic.
  • Manage on‑set technical setup including camera settings, lenses, stabilization rigs, monitors and media management to ensure reliable capture and data integrity.
  • Operate lighting and grip equipment in coordination with gaffers and grips to produce consistent lighting schemes for both interior and exterior scenes.
  • Assist in pre‑production by scouting locations, assessing technical requirements and providing input on equipment and crew needs.
  • Support post‑production through organized media handover, logging of footage, basic color correction and liaising with editors and colorists to meet deliverable specifications.
  • Maintain equipment inventory and perform routine checks, minor repairs and safe handling of camera and audio gear.
  • Work within schedules to meet tight production timelines while maintaining quality and safety standards on set.

Location: Lahore. This is an on‑site production role that may require early starts and extended shoot days depending on production schedules. You will report to the Director of Photography and work closely with producers, directors and the post team to deliver visually compelling work for national and international clients.

Job Specification
  • Proven experience operating cinema and mirrorless/DSLR cameras (e.g., Arri, RED, Sony, Canon, Blackmagic).
  • Strong understanding of exposure, composition, framing, focus pulling and camera movement techniques.
  • Practical knowledge of lighting setups for interviews, product shoots and narrative scenes; ability to read light and modify it with flags, diffusers and reflectors.
  • Experience with stabilization systems: gimbals, dollies, tripods and shoulder rigs.
  • Familiarity with professional codecs, media formats, data backup workflows and on‑set transcoding.
  • Basic post‑production competencies: color grading fundamentals, LUTs, and experience collaborating with editors (DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro a plus).
