Job summary

Qualifications

• Able to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Good understanding of safety procedures when working with machinery.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Turner to join our dynamic team in Faisalabad, Pakistan. As a Turner, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machine tools to produce precision metal parts and components. This is a contract position with no accommodation provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations.
• Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses.
• Verify dimensions of finished workpieces using precision measuring instruments.
• Select and mount cutting tools on machines according to specifications.
• Adjust machine controls to regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed, feed, and coolant flow.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
• Troubleshoot issues with machines and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
