Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social sciences or a relevant field.
• Experience in community-based projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage various aspects of research projects, ensuring adherence to protocols and guidelines.
• Coordinate study requirements with relevant departments and supervise data collection.
• Maintain study documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with investigators and institutional staff; facilitate informed consent processes.
• Contribute to manuscript and grant writing and support study start-up, implementation and dissemination.
• Monitor storytelling sessions conducted by LHWs to ensure key health messages are delivered.
• Support implementation strategies at health facilities and in communities.
• Conduct and document implementation fidelity meetings at health facilities.
• Facilitate LHW storytelling sessions to reinforce learning and motivation.
• Organize LHW appreciation events to recognize performance.
• Oversee HTN screening activities and ensure proper documentation and referrals.
• Monitor HHE sessions conducted by LHWs and coordinate field activities.
• Provide on-site support to facility and community health teams; collect and verify field data.
• Ensure quality monitoring of all CVD-related activities and address gaps.
• Engage communities to promote awareness and participation in CVD prevention activities.
• Maintain coordination with health departments and partners; ensure smooth operation of field projects.
• Organize trainings, mentoring, and refresher sessions; arrange logistics for field operations.
• Develop field operation plans with timelines and resource allocation.
• Guide field teams to adhere to study protocol and timelines; monitor and address issues.
• Coordinate supplies and equipment maintenance for field operations.
• Serve as primary contact between field teams and project core team; prepare regular reports.
