Territory Manager is the custodian for his/ her given territory (geographical domain, channel strata etc). Mainly responsible for delivery KPI & Secondary Sales Targets on a consistent basis in line with brand/ trade plans. Responsible for managing distributor field force (Order Bookers), that they are working in line with company policies.
The position is based within the Field Sales division of the Reckitt Benckiser Country Sales Operations. The position is assigned a territory and forms external customer relationships through regular store visits. The Territory Manager reports to the Area Sales Manager, who reports into the Regional Sales Manager.
Strong understanding of Trade Plans, Importance of Brand Interventions NPDs in acting as building blocks for IMS, & KPIs
Quick Decision Making to handle customer queries, objections with upfront representation
Strong administrative controls to manage distributor infrastructure assigned
Strong Analytical skills to tether trade plans efficiently down the food chain OR tailor them as per the needs of the territory
Organisational skills, Commercial awareness, The ability to analyse data and spot trends, Adaptability, Creative skills, including writing, design and video editing, Good teamworking skills, Communication skills, Numerical skills, including compiling and analysing spreadsheets.
