Job summary

HR POD - Hiring Talent Globally seeks a senior full-stack engineer to lead a small development team, including external partners, and drive delivery in a fast-paced environment.

You will review PRs daily, set coding standards, and own CI/CD pipelines while contributing hands-on on complex features. Strong English communication with US clients is essential and ownership mindset is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field preferred.
• 6+ years of full-stack web development experience.
• At least 2 years leading or mentoring developers.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React/Next.js, and Node.js.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience including schema design, migrations, and row-level security.
• Proven experience reviewing other developers' code daily and raising technical standards.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions and automated testing.
• Experience establishing development standards including branching, testing, and definition of done.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT).
• Experience with Supabase, multi-tenant SaaS, and PWA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of developers, including external partners.
• Review the team's pull requests daily and provide actionable feedback.
• Write code yourself, tackling complex features and supporting the team.
• Set and enforce development standards, including branching strategy, testing standards, and definition of done.
• Share ownership of CI/CD pipelines, environments, and releases from day one.
• Use and extend AI coding tools within the team where gaps are identified.
• Break requirements into technical tasks and sprint plans with the Lead Business Analyst.
• Work with the Lead Designer to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Explain functions, features, or APIs on the spot to the team or a client.
• Estimate work, commit to timelines, and flag risks early.
• Join client calls to explain technical solutions and answer questions.
• Onboard and mentor developers as the team grows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in full-stack web development, including at least 2 years of experience leading or mentoring other developers.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React/Next.js, and Node.js.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, and row-level security.
• Proven experience reviewing other developers' code daily and raising the technical standards of a team.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or similar tools, along with automated testing.
• Experience establishing development standards for a team, including branching, testing, definition of done, and code review practices.
• Strong hands-on experience coding with AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and ChatGPT.
• Experience working with existing AI agents and harnesses and extending them where needed.
• Self-starter who can take an objective and execute it independently without waiting for the next step to be assigned.
• Ability to provide actionable insights and direction to developers and clients rather than general observations.
• Out-of-the-box thinker who looks for new ways to solve problems and accelerate delivery rather than simply following established processes.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to speak with US clients and explain technical decisions clearly and confidently.
• Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Open to feedback and quick to act on it.
• Solution architecture experience, including system design and integration patterns, is a plus.
• Experience with Supabase and leading outsourced or vendor teams is a plus.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS and Progressive Web Apps (PWA) is a plus.

• Review the team's pull requests daily, maintain a high quality bar, and provide clear, actionable feedback.
• Write code yourself, taking on complex features and stepping in wherever the team needs support.
• Set and enforce the team's development standards, including branching strategy, testing standards, definition of done, and code review practices.
• Share ownership of the CI/CD pipeline, environments, and releases from day one, with the expectation of taking full ownership as you settle into the role.
• Use the AI agents and coding tools already established within the team, maximize their effectiveness, and extend them where gaps are identified.
• Break requirements into technical tasks and sprint plans with the Lead Business Analyst.
