Inviting applications for the role of Technical Associate - NOC engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance troubleshooting network problems, escalating problems to vendors.
• Create case logs, record information, establish resolution time, follow up on issues, and escalate complex issues.
• Assess issues and establish a course of action to guide the client/associate to timely resolution of inquiry.
• Troubleshoot network problems and implement corrective action.
• Provide other ad hoc support and duties as assigned.
• Work in an environment with competing priorities.
• Provide 24x7x365 rotational support of production systems and services.
• Document and improve the IT knowledge management system.

Minimum Qualifications

• Relevant years of experience in a technical role preferably next‑gen WAN technology like SDWAN.
• Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching – Preferably on Cisco.
• Professional communication skills (written and verbal) – Mandatory.
• College degree in a technical field or equivalent work/industry related experience.
• Scripting knowledge – Python.
• Ability to work in a high‑volume, complex, diverse environment to match a fast‑paced organization.
• Strong focus on supporting the business customers.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

• Good understanding of networking/network concepts.
• Practical experience in a NOC/Managed Services environment.
• Industry certification like CCNA preferred.
• Monitoring tools – Solarwinds.
• Strong communicator – English in spoken and written form.
