About the role

You will work closely with business stakeholders, building strategic talent pipelines and ensuring seamless hiring experiences in a high-growth environment.

What you’ll do
  • Be a trusted partner: Work hand-in-hand with Engineering and Data & AI leaders to understand their vision, anticipate hiring needs, and co-create talent strategies.
  • Demonstrate sourcing excellence: Proactively source, engage, and build pipelines of high-caliber talent. Share competitor intelligence & hiring benchmarks to inform decisions.
  • Recruit across critical roles: From Backend and Mobile Engineers to Data Scientists, you’ll play a key role in building the backbone of Careem’s technology across key markets including UAE, Pakistan, Egypt and Jordan.
  • Shape the candidate journey: Champion a seamless and positive candidate experience, setting clear expectations and maintaining timely, transparent communication throughout the hiring journey. Own the full hiring process end-to-end including sourcing, screening, scheduling and offer management, ensuring candidates walk away with a best‑in‑class experience.
  • Stay agile and data-driven: Share insights, market intelligence, and regular progress updates with stakeholders to continuously refine our approach. Updates will include pipeline health, time-to-fill metrics, and talent landscape insights.
What you’ll need
  • 5+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition, with strong focus on technical recruiting across Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics.
  • Proven success in fast‑paced environments (start‑ups, scale‑ups, or high‑growth tech companies preferred).
  • Confident in full‑cycle recruitment from sourcing to offer management, and fluent with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse).
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills – you know how to build trust, push back when needed, and deliver results.
  • A proactive, creative problem solver who thrives in ambiguity and is motivated by building something big.
