Job summary

A leading IT solutions provider in Islamabad is seeking an experienced VMware Specialist to manage and configure VMware vSphere and other related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network configuration and security, along with a proven track record in implementing organizational infrastructure across various locations. Certifications in VMware technologies are highly preferred.

Job description

• Candidates with experience in VMware vSphere, VSAN, NSX, DRS and VCF. Highest preference will be given to those candidates with related experience and certifications in any or all of these technologies.
• Configured VMware vSphere Cluster features like High Availability (HA), Distributed Resource Scheduling (DRS) and Host Monitoring.
• Design and implement mission critical changes to organizational virtual infrastructure spanning multiple disparate geographical locations.
• Experienced in installing and implementing the Active directories and DNS servers and creating the groups and organizational units for the enterprise.
• Providing security and network support for physical networking and firewall services.
• Ensuring network reliability and availability though well-planned and implemented solutions.
• Delivering network and security infrastructures.
• Developing, maintaining and supporting networks in NSX/NSX-T.
• Implementing networking and VXLAN technologies.,
• Configuring and monitoring network security layers.
• Maintaining VMware vROps and reporting for confirmation , troubleshooting and capacity planning.
