Job summary

AESOM is seeking an experienced Structural Draftsman for on-site work in Lahore, Pakistan. The role requires hands-on experience with both USA and local structural projects and a strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/Revit Structure, RCC and detailing.

Responsibilities include preparing detailed drawings, coordinating with architecture and MEP teams, and delivering shop drawings within deadlines. Ideal candidates have 3–7 years of drafting experience and a solid understanding of US construction

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of structural drafting experience.
• USA-based structural project experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of RCC, concrete, steel and detailing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural plans, sections, elevations and construction details.
• Develop RCC, concrete, steel, foundation, framing and reinforcement details.
• Prepare shop drawings and construction drawings.
• Convert structural designs, calculations and engineer markups into accurate drawings.
• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Coordinate with Architecture, MEP, engineers and other disciplines.
• Incorporate consultant/engineer comments and manage revisions.
• Maintain accurate drawing sets, revisions and project documentation.
• Support Revit/BIM modelling and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Deliver accurate drawings within project deadlines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare detailed structural plans, sections, elevations and construction details

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-7 years of structural drafting experience
• Proven USA-based structural project experience - required
• Strong experience with local building/construction projects
• Advanced AutoCAD
• Working proficiency in Revit / Revit Structure / BI
• Strong knowledge of RCC, concrete, structural steel, reinforcement & detailing
• Experience with shop drawings and construction documentation
• Ability to interpret structural calculations and engineer markups
• Understanding of US construction standards, codes and drafting practices
• Strong attention to detail and coordination skills

STRONG ADVANTAGE

Experience working on USA residential, commercial or multi-story building projects, particularly in structural detailing, Revit Structure, BIM coordination and construction/shop drawings.
