Job summary

Creative Chaos seeks a Financial Controller to oversee all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring accurate reporting and regulatory compliance. You will implement sound financial strategies and lead the finance team to support growth objectives.

The role requires 7+ years in finance, including 3+ years in leadership, with strong knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and external reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred).
• Minimum 7 years in finance/accounting, with at least 3 in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance standards.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems (QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP).
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication with executives and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows).
• Develop and manage the annual budget and monitor variances.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify opportunities and provide strategic insights.
• Manage financial risks through compliance and internal controls.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
• Monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity for operations and strategic initiatives.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulators to ensure compliance.
• Identify and implement financial process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
