Your Team:
Reporting Hub plays a vital role in supporting clients’ investment decision-making based on their financial objectives. This position contributes to maintaining the highest standards of operational discipline, data accuracy, and timely reporting across Invesco’s client base.
This role would work as part of Data quality team under Reporting Hub to implement, execute and monitor the quality checks and assurance processes. The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and a good understanding of Investment/Distribution data.
Your Role:
Develop a strong understanding of reporting process and the relevant data within Investment management operations.
Build good understanding of data flows across systems from source to reporting platforms along with the impact of data on reporting.
Act as an SME for the data quality processes along with managing the daily deliverables.
Support lead/supervisor in conducting process trainings and assessments.
Support lead/supervisor in planning the work allocation along with monitoring the process.
Ensure the established timelines and quality of deliverables that may impact the business are met on an on-going basis.
Ensure process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are updated on a real time basis.
Collate metrics for the team and support lead in preparing the MIS.
Support lead/supervisor in requirement gathering, testing and validation exercises for any projects or initiatives.
Drive implementation of process improvement ideas and eliminate challenges.
Ensure timely communication of queries, issues and escalations to the lead/supervisor.
Participate in the stakeholder meetings and contribute effectively.
Contribute to cross-functional initiatives within the department.
The Experience You Bring:
4-7 years of overall experience in the financial services sector.
Must have 2-3 years of experience in data domain within the overall experience.
Strong understanding of financial services specifically Investment management.
Must have a basic understanding of Reporting domain.
Good understanding of data domain and data quality principles.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational ability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
Good knowledge of SQL and any BI tool – Power BI, Tableau, Oracle BI etc.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and hands on experience using the skills for business purposes.
Good data analysis skills with hands on experience.
Strong documentation skills.
Effective team player with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Academic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (B. Com, BBA, or equivalent) or MBA with specialization in Finance, Operations, or Data Management.
LICENSE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
Fundamentals of Data (Preferred)
Fundamentals of Data Analysis (Preferred)
Any data quality tool – Informatica, Atacama etc. (Good to have)
