Job Description: Agentic AI Engineer – Real-Time AI Agents & Automation

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Agentic AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent AI agents capable of executing tasks, making contextual decisions, and automating business workflows in real time. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with agentic AI systems, n8n workflow automation, LLM integrations, and API‑driven development.

The role involves building scalable AI solutions that combine autonomous agents, workflow orchestration, and third‑party integrations to automate complex processes. Experience with LLMs such as OpenAI and Anthropic Claude is desirable, along with the ability to integrate these models into production‑ready AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and deploy real‑time AI agents capable of reasoning, decision‑making, tool calling, and autonomous task execution.
2. Build and manage automated workflows using n8n, integrating AI agents with APIs, databases, and third‑party business applications.
3. Develop AI‑powered automation solutions using LLMs, agent orchestration, memory, and multi‑step execution.
4. Integrate AI models, including OpenAI and Anthropic Claude, into agentic workflows and automation pipelines.
5. Build event‑driven workflows triggered by webhooks, incoming messages, system events, and real‑time data updates.
6. Integrate AI agents with CRMs, communication platforms, internal systems, and external services.
7. Develop custom workflow logic using Python or JavaScript when standard n8n nodes are insufficient.
8. Implement API integrations, structured outputs, error handling, retries, and fallback mechanisms to ensure reliable execution.
9. Develop single‑agent and multi‑agent workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, or equivalent technologies.
10. Implement RAG, vector databases, and contextual memory where required.
11. Monitor, test, and optimize agent performance, workflow reliability, execution speed, and API costs.
12. Apply appropriate security controls, credential management, and human approval mechanisms for sensitive or high‑impact actions.
13. Collaborate with engineering and business teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver practical AI solutions.

Required Technical Skills

1. Hands‑on experience with Agentic AI and real‑time AI agent development.
2. Practical experience with n8n workflow automation, including triggers, webhooks, branching, API integrations, and workflow orchestration.
3. Strong programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
4. Experience integrating LLMs such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or similar models.
5. Understanding of agent tool calling, task planning, memory, and multi‑step workflow execution.
6. Experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, authentication, and third‑party integrations.
7. Familiarity with frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, or equivalent agent development tools.
8. Knowledge of asynchronous processing, event‑driven architecture, and real‑time communication.
9. Familiarity with databases, vector stores, and RAG pipelines.
10. Understanding of debugging, logging, error handling, and production deployment of AI workflows.

Experience & Education

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. 5+ years of relevant software development, AI engineering, or automation experience preferred.
3. Demonstrable experience building n8n workflows and integrating LLM‑powered agents with real‑world applications.
4. Experience deploying production‑ready AI agents that execute tasks and respond to real‑time events is highly desirable.
