Job Timings: 10 am - 6 pm PKT

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Software QA Engineer to join our team. Your primary role will be to assist with the creation and execution of automated and manual test cases for our software applications. You will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure the quality of our software products.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Participate in the design and implementation of test plans and test cases, ensuring they are comprehensive and effective.
• Perform hands‑on manual and automated testing.
• Collaborate with the development team during all phases of the software development lifecycle to identify any potential quality issues and suggest solutions.
• Use Postman for HTTP REST API testing.
• Report and track defects discovered during testing, and work closely with developers to rectify these issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects, providing development teams with enough details to understand, replicate and resolve the defect.
• Provide input into improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing processes and activities.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups, planning sessions, and review meetings.

What are we looking for, and what does it require to be the right fit for this role?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of work experience as a Software QA Engineer in the software development industry.
• Proficient in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as UI testing, automated testing, regression testing, performance testing, functional testing, database testing (SQL), integration testing, etc.
• Knowledge of Postman for REST API testing.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, etc.
• Experience in JMeter
