Job Description
Your Team

Reporting Hub plays a vital role in supporting clients’ investment decision‑making based on their financial objectives. This position contributes to maintaining the highest standards of operational discipline, data accuracy, and timely reporting across Invesco’s client base.

This role would work as part of Data quality team under Reporting Hub to manage quality checks and assurance processes. This role will support establishing of data integrity through implementing the quality processes across the Reporting Hub. The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and a good understanding of Investment/Distribution data and business analysis skills.

Your Role
  • Help the team build strong understanding of Investment management cycle, Reporting business area and related data.
  • Support the build good understanding of data flows across systems from source to reporting platforms along with the impact of data on reporting business.
  • Guide and support SMEs in the team on process issues and challenges.
  • Manage work allocation and oversight of data quality processes ensuring issues are resolved and support supervisor in addressing escalations.
  • Oversee process trainings and assessments for the team.
  • Review & approve process documentation/metrics on a regular basis.
  • Prepare necessary MIS required by supervisor.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationship with all stakeholders on BAU.
  • Support implementation of DQ projects for the department, work with squads and project contacts. Good understanding of the project lifecycle is required.
  • Ability to oversee/guide data analysis by team members identifying patterns/outliers that may impact the reporting business.
  • Ensure team meets the established timelines and quality of deliverables that may impact the business on an on‑going basis and endeavour to exceed the same.
  • Lead internal initiatives and projects for the team.
  • Contribute to the department level initiatives and projects.
  • Groom aspiring specialists within the department.
The Experience You Bring
  • 7-10 years of overall experience in the financial services sector.
  • Must have 4-5 years of experience in data domain within the overall experience.
  • Must have 2-3 years of experience contributing to projects within the overall experience. Contribution as a Business analyst is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial services specifically Investment management.
  • Must have a good understanding of Reporting domain.
  • Strong understanding of data domain and data quality principles.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational ability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required
  • Intermediate‑Advance knowledge of SQL and hands on experience using the same to access/understand data.
  • Good hands‑on experience of using any BI tool – Power BI, Tableau, Oracle BI etc.
  • Intermediate to advance knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • Good to have hands‑on experience of any ticketing tool – JIRA, ServiceNow etc.
  • Strong data analysis skills with hands on experience solving business problems using data.
  • Strong documentation skills; especially related to project requirements and testing.
  • Effective team player with strong collaboration and problem‑solving skills.
Academic Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (B. Com, BBA, or equivalent) or MBA with specialization in Finance, Operations, or Data Management.

LICENSE/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION
  • Fundamentals of Data and Data Quality (Preferred)
  • Fundamentals of Data Analysis (Preferred)
  • Any data quality tool – Informatica, Atacama etc. (Good to have)
