Job description

As a Solar Installer you will be responsible for installing solar panels and other equipment to help harness and utilize solar energy. You will work on various projects including residential, commercial and industrial installations. Your main goal will be to ensure that the solar systems are properly installed and functioning efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Install solar panels, inverters and other equipment according to project specifications
• Perform electrical wiring for the solar system
• Test and troubleshoot any issues with the system
• Ensure all safety measures are followed during installation
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities
• Communicate with project manager and team members regarding progress and any potential issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in solar panel installation is preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment as needed
