Job summary

Systems Limited is seeking a detail-oriented QA/Test Engineer to ensure quality and reliability through comprehensive manual and automated testing. You will own test execution, defect management, and regression testing to meet project exit criteria.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, analytical, and skilled in maintaining clear test documentation and stakeholder communication. Experience across MVA, Web, iPay, My Book, and OSS & BSS web-based apps is preferred and you will collaborate

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven experience in manual and automated testing.
• Experience testing MVA, Web, iPay, My Book, OSS & BSS web apps.
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and defect life cycle.
• Experience in test execution, tracking defects, and regression testing.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills with maintained artifacts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Execute and maintain test scripts, track defects, and perform regression testing.
• Analyze test results and ensure exit criteria are met before sign-off.
• Prepare and manage test data for multiple testing cycles.
• Create and maintain test documentation including plans and reports.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Ensure cross-platform testing across MVA, Web, iPay, My Book and OSS & BSS apps.
• Participate in requirement reviews and test case walkthroughs.

Systems Limited is looking for a detail-oriented QA/Test Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of applications through comprehensive manual and automated testing. The role involves full ownership of test execution, defect management, and regression testing, with a strong focus on meeting quality standards and project exit criteria. The ideal candidate will be proactive, analytical, and skilled in maintaining clear test documentation and communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and functional requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Execute and maintain test scripts, identify, track, and manage defects, and perform regression testing to validate fixes and ensure application stability.
• Analyze test results, verify resolution of issues, and ensure all test exit criteria and quality standards are met prior to sign-off.
• Prepare, maintain, and manage test data required for various testing cycles.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, execution reports, and defect metrics for stakeholder visibility.
• Participate in requirement reviews and test case walkthroughs to identify gaps, risks, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Perform testing across multiple platforms and applications, including MVA, Web, iPay, My Book, and other OSS & BSS web-based e-commerce applications.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution and high-quality delivery.

Required Skills and Experience

• 3-5 years of proven experience in manual and automated testing across the full software testing lifecycle.
• Strong hands-on experience testing MVA, Web, iPay, My Book, and OSS & BSS web-based e-commerce applications.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design techniques, and the defect life cycle.
• Experience in test execution, defect tracking, and regression testing.
• Ability to analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills with experience maintaining test artifacts.
