Role: Software Engineer IV – BE

As a Software Engineer IV – BE, you will:

  • Design and develop advanced applications and integrate new software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and deliver new application functionalities related to integrations with external software.
  • Actively participate in work planning during team meetings.
  • Conduct code reviews and support colleagues in maintaining code quality.
  • Develop software in PHP and related languages, adhering to established coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and improve application performance.
  • Implement new technologies and continuously improve the development process.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director or authorized personnel.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them to workforce management solutions like Humanity.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of software development experience with PHP and MySQL.
  • Strong experience with Git.
  • A comprehensive understanding of OOP concepts.
  • Excellent coding skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Passion for ingenuity.
  • Mid‑level product and high technical knowledge.
  • Ability to analyze and solve increasingly complicated problems.
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
  • Ability to understand requirements and solve technical issues with minimal supervision.
  • Previous experience working on SaaS projects, ideally in workforce management or other enterprise solutions.
  • Nice to have: Experience building scheduling, time‑tracking, or calendar‑based features.
  • Some experience with front‑end technologies like JavaScript frameworks, preferably React JS.
Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
