Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Formworker or Carpenter in the construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders and work at heights if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow construction plans to construct formwork according to specifications.
• Measure and cut materials to build formwork structures.
• Assemble formwork using hand tools and power tools.
• Install reinforcements and braces according to safety standards.
• Pour concrete into formwork and ensure it is level and smooth.
• Remove formwork after concrete has set and clean up job site.
• Inspect completed formwork for quality assurance.
