Qualifications

GharPlans is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee residential construction and finishing projects. This role requires hands-on supervision of daily activities on-site to ensure that construction work meets the prescribed standards, timelines, and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in overseeing construction operations, coordinating subcontractors, and monitoring quality control processes. Although this position does not involve managing a team, the Site Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating various tradespeople including masons, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and painters, ensuring all work aligns with approved plans and specifications. The Site Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining efficient site organization, tracking progress, and enforcing compliance with health and safety regulations. They are responsible for inspecting materials, monitoring workmanship, preparing progress and snag reports, and addressing any issues that arise during construction. This position requires excellent coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with contractors and engineers. The goal is to ensure quality construction delivery within the scheduled timelines while maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.

Monitor construction processes including brickwork, plastering, flooring, ceiling installation, painting, tiling, plumbing, and electrical finishing to maintain high quality standards.

Inspect construction materials for quality and appropriateness of use, ensuring compliance with project requirements and safety standards.

Maintain detailed daily site progress reports, documenting completed work, pending tasks, and any deviations from plan.

Ensure all site personnel follow health, safety, and environmental policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.

Manage labour attendance, assign tasks, and support workforce productivity without formally leading a team.

Identify construction site issues promptly and coordinate with engineers and contractors to implement effective solutions.

Monitor project schedules and assist in ensuring work is completed on or ahead of deadlines.

Conduct thorough site inspections and prepare snag lists to identify and resolve defects before final handover.

Maintain site cleanliness, proper storage of construction materials, and organized workspace to facilitate smooth operations.
