Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO principles.
• Strong keyword research, search intent analysis, and content mapping skills.
• Experience with SEO auditing and diagnosing crawlability, indexing, site structure, and page performance issues.
• Ability to optimize metadata, headings, internal linking, and content for relevant search queries.
• Comfort using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and common SEO platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or equivalent tools.
• Working understanding of website platforms and basic HTML; ability to collaborate effectively with developers and content teams.
• Competence in tracking rankings, organic traffic, and conversions, and translating findings into clear reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and map search intent to relevant pages and content opportunities.
• Audit websites for technical SEO issues, prioritize recommendations, and coordinate implementation with developers.
• Optimize page titles, metadata, headings, internal links, and on-page content in line with SEO best practices.
• Develop content briefs and collaborate with writers to create useful, search-focused content.
• Support ethical link-building and digital authority initiatives appropriate to each client.
• Monitor rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and technical health; prepare clear performance reports and actionable recommendations.
• Stay current with search engine developments and communicate campaign progress.
