Job summary
Datamatics Technologies in Gothenburg, Sweden is seeking an experienced Tech Lead who can bridge hands-on software development and software architecture. The role is split about 50% between architecture and development, requiring strong communication and collaboration with domain architects, developers and the wider DevOps organization.
You will join a diverse team working in two-week sprints and ten-week program increments with four teams and ~24 people.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Strong Java backend with Tech Lead responsibilities.
- Hands-on software architecture and cloud experience.
- Hands-on with development while leading.
- Excellent communication and collaboration.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe or Kanban.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to the development team.
- Balance hands-on coding with architecture and design responsibilities.
- Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring Boot backend services.
- Contribute to microservices and AWS serverless solutions.
- Work with TypeScript as part of application development.
- Collaborate with domain architects, developers and DevOps professionals.
- Participate in code reviews and CI/CD practices.
- Promote TDD and high-quality engineering.
