Job summary

NorthBay Solutions is seeking a SecOps Security Engineer (L3) to join our 24x7 Security Operations Center. You will work with Check Point, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls, coordinating incident response and security governance in a distributed environment across multiple regions.

The role requires hands-on firewall management, VPN/MFA administration, and endpoint security integration, with opportunities to influence security posture and drive continuous improvement within enterprise-scale

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in Security Operations.
• Experience supporting enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident response capabilities.
• Experience with firewall policy review and security audits.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem).

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot Check Point, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls.
• Implement and review firewall policies, ACLs, NAT, and security rules.
• Administer WAF, IPS, VPN, MFA, and proxy security solutions.
• Support endpoint security platforms including EDR, DLP, and antivirus solutions.
• Investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Review security logs, alerts, and operational events.
• Support audit, compliance, and security governance requirements.
• Execute security hardening and vulnerability remediation activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and operational reports. Participate in DR activities.
