Senior Service Engineer
Responsibilities
- Responsible for carrying out service and maintenance in accordance with assigned accountabilities.
- Perform extensive maintenance, repairs and services on all types of machines (e.g., replacement of vibration dampers, hydraulically pressed cams) in accordance with the specified work cards/documents.
- Develop timelines and project completion deadlines with line manager; monitor lead time and quality.
- Write performance requirements for engineering projects.
- Execute LMRA (Last Minute Risk Analysis) on location before starting work.
- Correctly use PPE (personal protective equipment) provided.
- Carry out assembly preparation for upcoming demanding service assignments, e.g., check commissioned spare parts for completeness, allocation and correctness.
- Follow the service schedule and ensure supply of materials required to maintain machines or equipment in the prescribed condition; prepare special tools and dispatch.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer‑generated reports, and ensure required tools, materials and parts are available.
- Plan work processes efficiently with manpower requirements, determining assembly procedures on site in accordance with the specified work cards/documents. Act as technical instructor, coordinator and advisor of assigned (external) personnel. Coach service technicians and engineers to carry out planning, maintenance, commissioning, performance tests, etc.
- Provide specialist assistance explanations of technical facts to the customer/contact person for technical questions and represent the company to the customer.
- Perform major overhauls of various Everllence portfolio engines and/or turbochargers.
- Support the customer in coordination of the assembly process, and extensive assembly/disassembly of parts/assemblies according to work cards/checklists.
- Technically coordinate plants, systems and component findings; advise customers on preventive maintenance and support with commissioning work.
- Process warranty cases, e.g., make and check customer claims, send parts and personnel if necessary; track in alignment with and following approval by HQ.
- Report incidents, accidents and near‑misses according to procedures; investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and recommend remedial actions.
- Correctly use PPE and all HSE relevant material.
- Create reports and handle standard and special software. Analyze maintenance data and make suggestions for improvement.
- Implement enforcing and monitoring standard maintenance and HSE policies and procedures according to Excellence standards guideline, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
- Develop technically optimized solutions.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering Degree from a well‑reputed university or equivalent.
- 5+ years of related experience, preferably in the power industry or captive power plant/marine.
- Detailed understanding of the business at both technical and commercial levels.
- Principles of work preparation/project management; leadership.
- Health and safety, environmental, quality and safety requirements.
- Prepared to travel worldwide.
- Knowledge in technical report writing with Microsoft Office.
Senior Sales Engineer
Responsibilities
- Responsible for multiple product portfolio in accordance with assigned accountabilities.
- Find related customers in the market, create sales funnel and opportunities as per sales plans.
- Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how the products and services work.
- Work with the customers and engineers to ensure the equipment meets the system requirements.
- Communicate with the sales team to understand consumer demands and offer sales support where necessary.
- Secure orders, guarantee product standards and assure product delivery.
- Establish customer rapport and acceptance.
- Plan for modifications to products to meet consumer demands.
- Help clients to solve problems with product usage.
- Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the equipment will be more cost‑effective.
Qualifications
- Detailed understanding of the business at both technical and commercial levels.
- Seasoned sales professional with 4-5 years of related experience, preferably in the marine, power plant or heavy equipment/machines.
- Demonstrated application engineering approach.
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred with related work experience.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Comparable vocational education with long‑time work experience.
