Job summary

Ascertia seeks a Senior SaaS Operations Engineer to maintain, upgrade, and monitor its hosted services. The role collaborates across Sales, Support, Product Development and Customer Success to ensure onboarding and ongoing service delivery.

The candidate should have strong Windows/Linux, databases (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), cloud experience (Azure/AWS), and hands-on with Java/.Net apps, API testing (Postman), and containers (Docker, Kubernetes). Willingness for 24/7 shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of PKI, EU eIDAS and GDPR.
• Experience installing and configuring Windows and Linux, databases, and cloud services (Azure/AWS).
• Databases: MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on with Java and/or .NET apps deployment/testing.
• API testing with Postman.
• Web servers: IIS, Apache, Tomcat management and deployments.
• Analytical problem-solving; cryptography/digital signatures familiarity.
• Azure container services (AKS) knowledge beneficial.
• Containers: Docker; orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Follow runbooks; monitor container health and logs.

Responsibilities

• Drive outcomes within defined response times for support and teams.
• Build and maintain a SaaS knowledge base and documentation.
• Assist internal stakeholders on service status and projects.
• Coordinate with Product Dev for releases to hosted platforms.
• Support customer deployments with Customer Success on complex items.
• Provide reports on bugs, enhancements, and defects to Development.
• Report service delivery metrics and product defects with recommendations.
