About the Role
ESFORGE is looking for a Senior Robotics Engineer to join our team in Islamabad. This is a hands-on, senior-level position for someone who can take ownership of complex robotics systems from design through deployment. We're building serious technology and need someone who can hit the ground running.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy robotic systems and autonomous platforms
- Lead architecture decisions across hardware and software integration
- Develop and optimize control systems, motion planning, and perception pipelines
- Integrate sensors, actuators, and embedded systems into cohesive platforms
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the full robotics stack
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical direction
Must-Have Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency inC++andPythonfor robotics applications
- Hands-on experience withROS/ROS2(Robot Operating System)
- Solid grasp ofcontrol systemsandmotion planningalgorithms
- Experience withcomputer visionandperception(OpenCV, PCL, or similar)
- Proficiency withSLAM(Simultaneous Localization and Mapping)
- Experience integratingsensors(LiDAR, IMU, cameras, encoders) andactuators
- Familiarity withembedded systemsand microcontrollers (STM32, Arduino, or similar)
- Understanding ofkinematics and dynamicsfor robotic manipulators and/or mobile robots
- Experience withsimulation tools(Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or equivalent)
- Solid foundation inlinear algebra, and real-time systems
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in robotics engineering
- A proven track record of shipping real robotics products or systems
- The ability to work independently and own problems end-to-end
