This is grant funded contractual position.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for field‑based activities which includes motivating and enrolling study subjects to be part of the study, collecting data, assisting in data cleaning and biological specimen collection and planned activities.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Visit targeted households and food street shop to motivate eligible study participants to be a part of the study.
  • Collect household and individual information through survey questionnaires in pre or post intervention surveys.
  • Make appointments with study subjects for biological specimen collection activity.
  • Ensure that all data collection tools and equipment are properly maintained and used according to protocol.
  • Assist with any other duties of a similar nature that are delegated by coordinator/Managers.
  • Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record keeping in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Compile and submit regular progress reports to the field coordinator/project manager.
  • Follow established protocols and guidelines for data collection.
  • Travel to designated locations to collect relevant data.
  • Weekly report on the study.
  • Quarterly report on run designed data.
  • Female having experience in blood sample collection will be preferred.
Requirements
  • Graduation. Prior fieldwork experience will be preferred.
  • 1–2 years in health survey and/or community development experience.
  • Physical fitness for outdoor activities and willingness to work in community settings.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in community settings.
  • Ability to work collegially with community members and with study participants.
  • Good knowledge of community area and dynamics.
  • Resilience and ability to cope with work pressure.
