Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional PHP development.
• Strong Laravel experience and MySQL database design.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Solid knowledge of OOP, MVC, and SOLID principles; clean code.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
• Version control with Git, GitHub or GitLab; good debugging skills.
• Knowledge of web security best practices and testing.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong problem solving.
• Nice to have CodeIgniter, Redis, Docker, Linux servers, and CI/CD exposure.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer with 5+ years of professional experience to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable web applications and backend services. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with PHP, Laravel, MySQL, RESTful APIs, object-oriented programming, MVC architecture, and modern web development practices. You will work closely with other developers, QA engineers, and project stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance software solutions. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, clean coding practices, ownership of assigned tasks, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Requirements

Must Have

• 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development
• Strong hands-on experience with PHP 7/8+
• Strong experience with the Laravel framework
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and database design
• Good understanding of OOP, MVC, SOLID principles, and clean code
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery
