Job summary

Prime Minister’s Youth Program in Pakistan is seeking a Treasury Back-Office Analyst. A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field is required, with at least three years of experience in bank treasury operations.

You will check and verify transactions, settle trades, prepare routine reports, coordinate with brokers, and support training of the back-office team. The deadline is 22 Sep 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional relevant experience in a Treasury environment of banks, DFIs, NBFIs or brokerage houses.

Responsibilities

• Check and verify transactions in accordance with Treasury/Investment Policy; ensure timely processing and proper settlement.
• Ensure compliance of Treasury Operation Processes and improve control to mitigate risks.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Treasury Back-Office reports.
• Coordinate with back-offices of counterparties and brokers for settlements.
• Manage securities back-office operations from trade clearing to custody, liaising with Finance Operations.
• Coordinate with Treasury Manager for training and development of the Back-Office team.
• Handle any other tasks assigned by Line Management.

Job description

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field from a leading local or international university recognised by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan(H.E.C.).

Experience:

Minimum of 3(three) years of professional relevant experience in a Treasury of a bank(s), DFI(s), NBFI(s) or brokerage house(s).

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively check, verify transactions in accordance with Treasury/Investment Policy, ensuring processing of transactions is carried out in a timely manner and ensuring proper settlement of transactions.
• Effectively check the compliance of Treasury Operation Processes and improve the control process to identify/mitigate risks.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports of Treasury Back-Office.
• Coordinate with back-offices of the counterparties and brokers for the settlement of the transactions.
• Manage the bank’s securities executed in the back-office operations covering the whole value chain from trade clearing, settlement to custody operation, liaising with Finance Operations of the bank as part of the value chain.
• Coordinate with Manager Treasury for Training and Development of the Treasury Back-Office team.
• Any other task assigned by the Line Management.

Core Competence:

• Good knowledge of Treasury benchmarks, settlement of back-office transactions, reporting frameworks, regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Well versed with SBP’s RTGS system.
• Good computer literacy and inclination towards automation.
• Ability to work independently and create goals and vision for delivery in ambiguous, difficult or new situations.
