Job summary

People Perfect is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer in Islamabad to design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android and iOS applications. You will own mobile architecture, mentor juniors, and deliver secure, scalable app solutions.

Responsibilities include integrating with backend services, REST APIs, and device hardware, while ensuring quality and security per OWASP guidelines. 5+ years of professional mobile experience and strong Kotlin/Swift skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
• Strong professional experience in Android development.
• Practical experience developing and maintaining iOS applications.
• Strong experience with Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Strong knowledge of Java for Android application maintenance.
• Experience with Swift and iOS SDK would be a plus.
• Strong experience integrating REST APIs and backend services.
• Experience with mobile hardware/device integration.
• Experience with Barcode, QR Code, Biometric, GPS, Camera, and Facial Recognition/Verification technologies.
• Experience with modern mobile testing, debugging, profiling, and performance optimization and experience with Git/version control and CI/CD.
• Strong technical documentation and software architecture skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance Android applications and modules.
• Take primary ownership of Android application architecture, development, maintenance, and performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain iOS applications and provide support when required.
• Translate business and technical requirements into reliable mobile solutions.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend systems, REST APIs, databases, and other enterprise services.
• Develop applications supporting offline operation, data synchronization, caching, and intermittent network connectivity where required.
• Ensure applications perform reliably across different devices, screen sizes, and supported operating system versions.
• Hands-on experience integrating mobile applications with device hardware and sensors, including barcode/QR scanning, biometrics, GPS, camera, Bluetooth, etc.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack, and modern Android development.
• Follow relevant OWASP Mobile Security principles and organizational security standards.
• Prepare and publish applications with and without Google Play Store and Apple App Store, must have experience with Firebase.
• Document application architecture, technical design, data flow, APIs, configurations, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Work effectively with backend developers, QA engineers, UI/UX teams, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders.
