Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will be responsible working non‑full time and in shifts (day/night) to support Emergency Room operations as a locum physician. You will be responsible to:
  • Perform patients’ initial evaluation, investigation, and management to maintain consistently high clinical quality and service standards
  • Coordinate with medical staff and work under the supervision of on‑call faculty to ensure the admitted patients' care management and treatment as per defined policy and protocols
  • Conduct bedside teaching and training while actively participating in academic activities of the Emergency Department
  • Supervise the work of Interns and Medical Officers on their rotation
  • Participate in educational activities, such as grand rounds, and journal clubs, where applicable
  • Keep aware of infection control practices and follow the same in the workplace
  • Support the department in administrative activities to ensure the smooth provision of services in assigned areas.
Requirements

You should have:

  • MBBS degree with a valid PMDC license.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Emergency Medicine/ Surgery/ Medicine OR 8 years of experience in a large hospital (at least 100 beds).
  • Candidate with structured residency training would be preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and with teams.
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Willing to work in shifts.
