Key Responsibilities

• Identify valuable data sources and automate data collection processes.
• Preprocess, clean, and transform structured and unstructured data for analysis.
• Build, train, and optimize machine‑learning and predictive models using Python.
• Evaluate and combine multiple models through ensemble or hybrid approaches.
• Conduct exploratory analyses to uncover trends and behavioural patterns.
• Present insights and results using data visualization tools such as Plotly or D3.js.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, BI, segments, and product development teams to ensure solutions align with business needs.
• Champion data‑driven decision‑making and promote the adoption of ML methods across the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a graduate degree in Data Science or another quantitative discipline is preferred.

Experience

• 3–6 years of proven experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer within telecom, digital, or consumer‑tech domains.
• Experience in data mining, model development, and deployment pipelines.
• Exposure to BI or DWH environments in telecom is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills – Must Have

• Strong understanding of ML techniques and algorithms (e.g., k‑NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Random Forests, X GBoost).
• Expertise in Python, R, and SQL for data preparation and modeling.
• Proficiency with statistical methods for forecasting and model evaluation.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Plotly, D3.js, Tableau).
• Knowledge of data frameworks such as Hadoop and modern data pipelines.
• Knowledge of model evaluation and validation (e.g., AUC, precision/recall, overfitting, stability).
• Ability to build end‑to‑end ML workflows from data extraction to model scoring.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience with feature engineering, data preprocessing, and handling data quality issues.

Technical Skills – Nice to Have

• Experience with Databricks Platform.
• Understanding of cloud‑native environments for ML deployment.
• Good grasp of performance metrics and ML validation approaches.
