Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Senior I&C Engineer to lead instrumentation and control activities for Wellhead and Skids Solutions. You will oversee fabrication-site tasks, verify field installations, and ensure PLC/HMI/SCADA systems operate per specifications.

The role involves FAT/SAT, site testing, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. You will work on modular skid packages and pressure regulation systems in oil and gas and utilities projects, with opportunity for global

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
5–6 years of relevant experience in instrumentation & control engineering, installation, testing or commissioning.
Strong ability to read and interpret P&IDs, instrumentation drawings, loop diagrams.
Hands-on experience with PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems and their logic.
Experience in FAT/SAT and internal system testing.
Willingness to work at project sites and support commissioning and start-up activities.

Responsibilities

Supervise all Instrumentation & Control activities at fabrication/integration site for Process Skids and package systems.
Verify installation of field instruments, control panels, cabling, and instrumentation accessories.
Review I/O List, Instrument Index, Cause & Effect, wiring diagrams, loop drawings and termination schedules.
Witness PLC configuration and functional testing, including I/O checks and interlocks.
Verify HMI graphics, alarms, trends, and operator interface functions.
Coordinate and witness site checks, loop checks and functional tests for instruments and PLCs.
Ensure FAT procedures and inspection plans are followed with proper records.
Identify deficiencies and track NCRs to closure before FAT and shipment.
