About the Role

We're seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Customer Experience) with a strong focus on frontend development to lead the design, development, and optimisation of user-facing interfaces and supporting backend systems for our AI-enabled traffic enforcement camera platform. These systems demand intuitive, responsive, and high-performance interfaces to deliver real-time insights, backed by robust and scalable backend services for real‑time data processing in challenging environments. As a senior engineer, you'll drive technical strategy across the full stack, with a primary emphasis on frontend excellence, mentor team members, and collaborate with AI, platform, and hardware teams to deliver seamless, end-to-end solutions for precise violation detection and data interaction.

What Youll Do

• Architect and build responsive, high-performance frontend apps using Next.js for real-time data visualization, dashboards, and customer portals.
• Develop and maintain scalable Python backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and notifications to power frontend functionality.
• Lead creation of reusable UI components, design systems, and ensure accessibility, consistency, and performance.
• Optimize frontend rendering and data handling; enhance backend for high-volume, low-latency traffic workflows.
• Collaborate with AI, backend, and platform teams to integrate systems and ensure robust end-to-end data flow.
• Remain hands‑on with active coding, debugging, and troubleshooting across the full stack in an individual contributor role.
• Make sound, rational technical decisions with clear logical reasoning to balance trade-offs in design and implementation.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of full stack experience, with strong frontend expertise in Next.js/TypeScript and backend proficiency in Python.
• Proven track record delivering scalable, production‑grade frontend apps and reliable backend services in high-traffic systems.
• Deep expertise in component-based UI, API integration (REST/GraphQL), Tailwind, and backend optimization (databases, queues).
• Extensive experience with testing (Jest, Cypress, Pytest), CI/CD, and monitoring (e.g., Sentry) for user journeys and errors.
• Demonstrated ability to make rational technical decisions with logical reasoning while staying actively hands‑on.
• Strong leadership in mentoring, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration with designers and product teams.
• Exceptional debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills; ideally shipped full products end-to-end.
