VIDIZMO LLC seeks a Senior UI/UX Engineer to lead frontend development and design for enterprise video applications on the VIDIZMO platform.

You will craft high-performance interfaces in React and/or Angular, contribute to a shared design system in Figma, and ensure accessibility and multilingual support across SaaS, cloud, and on-prem deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and building production web interfaces across design and development.
• Portfolio showing end-to-end ownership from research to shipped UI.
• Expert, hand-coded HTML5/CSS3/SCSS and practical experience with React and/or Angular.
• Fluent in design tools such as Figma; experience with XD/Photoshop/Illustrator preferred.
• Strong accessibility (WCAG/Section 508) and multilingual/RTL design knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX process including research, journey mapping, wireframes and interactive prototypes.
• Design and maintain a shared design system in Figma for product and marketing surfaces.

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI/UX Engineer with expertise in frontend engineering and a keen eye for design. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end development, creating intuitive, high-performance user interfaces while developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-class video streaming and processing applications built on the VIDIZMO platform. The role involves delivering solutions across SaaS, customer-hosted Azure and AWS cloud environments, and on-premises deployments.

VIDIZMO is an AI software company headquartered in Tysons, Virginia. We build Nexus, AI Intelligence Hub, AI Live Insight, and Redactor - a product family that lets organizations search, analyze, redact, and act on unstructured data, treating video, audio, images, documents, and text as equal first-class sources. More than 100 customers run VIDIZMO in production across public safety and justice, government, healthcare, financial services, education, legal, manufacturing, and energy, much of it on premises, air-gapped, or in FedRAMP High environments on a CJIS Security Policy-aligned architecture.

AI Output Verification & Accountability (Required Competency)

The candidate must be capable of effectively using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to support work outputs such as content, analysis, documentation, or code. However, the candidate must also demonstrate strong judgment and ownership of the final deliverables. AI-generated output must never be treated as final without review. The candidate is expected to validate accuracy, completeness, logic, compliance, and alignment with business requirements, and refine AI-assisted work to meet the expected quality standards. The individual will be held accountable for the final output, regardless of whether AI tools were used during execution.

Design & UX

• Run the end-to-end UX process - user research, journey mapping, wireframes, and interactive prototypes - for both product and marketing surfaces, and validate designs through usability testing
• Design and maintain a shared design system (components, tokens, patterns) in Figma that keeps product and web visually and behaviorally consistent
• Translate ambiguous requirements from product, engineering, and marketing into clear, validated interaction and visual design solutions
• Apply visual design fundamentals - typography, layout, color, motion - so interfaces feel considered, not just functional.

Engineering

• Hand-code pixel-perfect, accessible HTML5/CSS3/SCSS and ship production UI in React and/or Angular
• Build and maintain the marketing site: landing pages, campaigns, brand experience
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG, Section 508) and multilingual/RTL support across every surface
• Optimize performance and responsiveness across devices and screen sizes
• Use analytics and A/B testing to validate design decisions post-launch; use AI-assisted tooling (e.g., Claude, Copilot) to move faster on both design and code.

What You Bring

• 5+ years designing and building production web interfaces - real, shipped work spanning both disciplines, not just one
• A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership: research and wireframes through final shipped UI
• Expert, hand-coded HTML5/CSS3/SCSS/Bootstrap (not just component-library assembly) and hands‑on React and/or Angular
• Required fluency in Figma, plus familiarity with XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator
• Strong visual and interaction design instincts, backed by working knowledge of accessibility (WCAG/Section 508) and RTL/multilingual design
• Enterprise SaaS experience; comfortable working in Agile/Scrum
• Clean, standards-compliant code (W3C)

Nice to Have

• Prior end-to-end ownership of both a marketing site (CMS, campaigns) and a product design system
• Deep RTL/bidirectional layout experience
• Comfort working in an AI-assisted design/dev workflow
